Old footage but better than what you see today. I really didn't get the end. It's standard procedure to put handcuffs on a corpse in order to confirm if there is a threat or not. Did anyone see the cop roll Oscar Grant over like a rug? Clearly Grant wasn't a threat so why is he dead now and the cop that killed him is free on time served the day of his verdict? How is this "justice" for the Grant family?

I’m not sure if this is “justice” for the Grant family. They really went out their way to give him the least sentence. Maybe I will check past sentencing and average.

I recently heard the excuse of black people should participate more on juries (Us against them mentality reinforced within our society) and I agree. But what is wrong with the supposedly other diasporas in this country?

If the shoe was on the other foot, how would they feel? How would individuals in their family feel? The truth is that they will never where anyone else’s shoes. Man! That’s why we couldn’t get that good ‘ole American justice that we here about and give abroad. This is the United States we live in. Fair people.

Wow. Outnumbered. Sure if you include the people watching and shouting for the police to let Grant and his friends go. Mind you, they were suspected of fighting, not caught or seen. Those cops were just walking around talking on there walking talkies (Suspect they were covering their buts messing up the 911). No one shot back after the officer’s gun went a blaz’n!

Another black male killed but this time laying down face down with his hands behind his back. Possibly handcuffed!
